Ben Warshager
Fabric & furniture expert
Principal of Cooper Brothers International
Ben started his career owning a drapery store in Toronto, and later purchased a drapery manufacturing business. Over the years he has developed good relationships working directly with interior designers and decorators, and 17 years ago, as contracts grew, moved to larger premises and purchased a family-owned upholstery business that was founded in 1939. Today he has one of the most successful and comprehensive drapery and fine furniture manufacturing facilities in Canada. Cooper Brothers focuses on working with the design trade, and are known as creative problem solvers. They can make furniture from scratch from their Toronto factory, working from a designer’s sketch, or revilatize antique pieces with new upholstery—complete with horsehair filling if the piece was originally made that way, to maintain authenticity. Ben has indirectly been responsible for decorating some of the finest homes in Canada, and works with the country’s top designers. |
